Hill Acme™ Pinch Roll Grinding and Polishing Systems are designed for production line processing of all types of ferrous and non-ferrous materials in flat form. More specifically, they can be used 'wet' or 'dry' for prefinishing, conditioning and polishing sheets, strips, plates or blanked-out shapes. Applications range from finishing photoengravers' plates to sizing titanium sheets for the aerospace industry.

Heavy welded-steel construction and dynamically-balanced rotating parts assure vibration-free, precision finishes. Normally, the minimum work length is 36". Single- or multiple- heads can be employed for one- or two-sided simultaneous processing.

Typical Applications:

	The Hill Acme™ 30"-wide Pinch Roll Machine for 'wet' operations is equipped with a mist collector. It is used to grind and polish zinc photoengraver plates.
	For 'semi-wet' operation, this 60"-wide Hill Acme™ Pinch Roll Machine is equipped with an automatic oil spray gun system and billy roll timers. It is used to polish stainless steel sheets.
	For 'wet' operations, the 48"-wide Hill Acme™ Pinch Roll Machine is equipped with variable speed drive, billy roll timers and double adjustment pinch rolls. It is used to grind titanium sheets for aircraft and aerospace industries.
